PEARL Program:
The Personal Enrichment Activities for Responsible Living, PEARL, program embraces the five S's that our sorority prides itself on.
The Five S's of Our Sorority:
Self Physical, Emotional, and Personal Development
Scholarship Academic, Career, and Lifestyle Skills and Planning
Sisterhood Organizational Knowledge and Skills
Social Communication, Leadership, and Social Development
Service Community and Societal Awareness and Involvement
These attributes have been established to enhance the personal growth of the women of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. Each sister is encouraged to participate in at least four events related to each category. By completing these activities, the sisters are preparing themselves to face future challenges in the "real world."
Fundraising:
Some of the Sisters of the Epsilon Phi Chapter at the Weekly Pretzel Sale
Pretzel Sale - Every Wednesday, the sisters can be found in Hayward Hall selling pretzels from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Car Wash - When the weather permits, the sisters have raised money by washing cars for donations in Tuttleman parking lot.
Student Activities Events - The sisters can be found selling pretzels, sodas, and other goodies at the various student events that are sponsored by the Philadelphia University Programming Board.
Community Service:
AIDS Walk - Every Year the sisters participate in the annual Philadelphia AIDS Walk.
Canned Food/Clothing/Toy Drive - During the holiday season, the sisters donate various canned foods, clothes, and toys to those who are in need.
Social Events:
Spring Formal - Every spring, the sisters get all dressed up for a night of great memories at our annual formal dinner/dance.
Mixers/Socials - The sisters hold mixers/socials with the two fraternities on our campus, Alpha Delta Gamma and Sigma Nu. We have also visited local chapters of Delta Phi Epsilon, and had joint mixers/socials with the fraternities found on their campuses. These events allow the sisters to interact with other Greeks on campus, and to meet new people.
Intramural Sports:
The sisters can be found playing various intramural sports during the school year. Some of the sports includes Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Volleyball.
