Sorority History

On March 17, 1917, five women at New York University Law School took a pledge of sisterhood and loyalty and so founded the Alpha Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon, one of the first non-sectarian, social sororities and the only one founded at a professional school.

Philanthropies

Delta Phi Epsilon supports three international philanthropies –

The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD),

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF),

Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.

We would like to invite all sisters and friends in conjunction with our International Governing Board that are  interested in promoting self-acceptance through ANAD and medical research and care for Cystic Fibrosis patients, to make their gifts through the Foundation or by visiting our partners' websites. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation offers a special online giving form for Delta Phi Epsilon members to make their tax-deductible gifts.
