Pledging Phi Psi
FY
The mission of Phi Psi Fraternity is to capture, nurture, and mutually benefit, from the efforts of a select group of students focusing on professionalism, teamwork, and brotherhood.
The Benefits to being a Brother:
What we DO:
Meetings: We hold weekly meetings throughout the semester that continues once the pledge process is completed. Here we discuss activities, trips, and also have guest speakers. Pledges meet at least every Thursday from 11-11:30AM in Hayward room 111. Brothers meeting every Thursday from 11:30-12PM in Hayward room 109.
Ceremonies: The pledge class every semester will pass through two initiation ceremonies. The first is called First and Second Degree. The final ceremony is Third Degree, where the pledge then becomes a Brother. These ceremonies are integral in the foundation of Phi Psi and provide understanding of our history for our new brothers.
Trips: Here is a list of trips we have taken in the past:
Community Service: We contribute to our community every semester by hosting a day of learning and fun for local Girl and Boy Scouts. We also give tours to schools and other groups that wish to learn more about our facilities and textile-related majors at Philadelphia University.
To be Eligible:
If you are interested in learning more, please attend our pledge events at the
beginning of every semester. These events are set up to provide interested
students a laid back and fun filled atmosphere to socialize with the brothers
and ultimately decide if Phi Psi Fraternity is a good match for them.
Also, one of the Wardens would be happy to hear from you and inform you about
the fraternity. Feel free to email them anytime!
